***UPDATE***
So after many days (read: minutes) I have come to the decision that it is best to move my blog to a more convenient and easier to remember (for when you tell your friends about the awesome blog and it's loud at the bar you're at...and you don't have a pen and napkin to write the awesome blog site on) domain. I hope you respect my choice and more importantly, visit the new site at www.bonafried.blogspot.com!
If you need more clarity on this matter, please refer to this video:

I envy the people on Lost...
Because they have an unlimited supply of UNI! In all honesty, if I were stuck on that island, I don't think it would bother me much as long as I didn't cut myself on the sea urchin trying to it out. For a moment, please examine the bowl below. Roe, LOADS of uni, nori, wasabi...rice...::looking for my subway card so I may go back::..
Me right now:

Get in my belly!

Q. Sweet or savory?
A. SWEET!?! Why would you make them sweet? Let's just say that neither I nor Bernie appreciated these things...you get a strong hit of fish and then the sweet finish of sugar? PASS.
I don't know if you can tell what these are, seeing as they were right in front of me, and regrettably, are now in my tummy...but they're tiny dried Japanese crabs. If this is their go-to convenient junk food...
not to be forgotten...
on a sweeter note

Why I <3 Montreal
Afewofmyfavoritethings
Here are some of the foods that have changed my life...I hope you're sitting down because these images may knock you off your feet.
::cue Minnie Ripperton::
"loooovin' you, is easy 'cause you're beautiful..."

Pigs foot at Au Pied De Cochon in Montreal. Taste like you think it would, like feet? Really, really good feet, don't get me wrong...but "feet-y" all the same. Makes me want to eat my own. Weird?

Foie gras pizza! Why not?

One of Montreal's staples. Poutine. This one was with fries, gravy, shredded chicken and peas! Not my cup of tea because I hate soggy fries, but would I refuse it? Never! (Resto La Banquise)

All good things must come to an end...
We've had some good times, we've had some bad times and as in life, this too had to be stopped (mainly for health reasons). Thank you for sticking through it with us! We hope you enjoyed the ride! Oh! And Annabel is ALLEGEDLY posting more later, but don't hope your breath! JK JK JK (no, i'm totally serious). Also, (you thought you were getting away that easy???) I may be converting this little bundle of joy in to a garden variety food blog "Something Fried", to share later culinary delights!

What looks like an oreo and is the size of a plate?

it isn't fried but it is...
...just full of cheese. still counts, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight?
"Pimento Cheese Sandwich: Sharp cheddar blended with pimentos with a touch of mayonnaise served on White bread."
They didn't add how awesome ::flips up collar:: this sandwich is. There's a tuna "sandwich" beneath it, that I won't bother addressing. For obvious reasons. It sucked in comparison.
If in Savannah, you have to go to Leopold's Ice Cream. Great shakes and sandwiches! Miss it already and it's just down the street...I wonder if it feels the same way?
It wasn't $5 but it was a heck of a foot long...
The (Ye) Olde Pink House (Savannah, GA)

Annabel's dinner...yes, it IS fried lobster! Trashy AND delicious!
Pulled pork sliders, crab beignets and fried artichokes with goat cheese!

So the house is actually pink (how cool is this?) because when this macho man had it built, the red brick dyed the white plaster on the outside and even when he painted it several times, it still turned pink!

She's alive! After waking up from her food coma, Annabel has finally graced us with her presence on the blog! You'll have to go back to the beginning, but she'll make it worth your while. ::insert winky face::

Does it get any better?
Our favorite dinner in a while! We had crab dip with horseradish and cheese, fried oysters with caviar, buffolo spicy shrimp and the BEST YET--avocado and crab ravioli on mesclun salad with goat cheese and truffle buerre blanc!

If I could only get the recipe!

We consumed these 40,000,000 AMAZING calories at Coast. Charleston, SC.
